Raise capital by remortgaging

Benefits of re-mortgaging never better
The benefits of re-mortgaging your home have never been better in recent times than today, according to leading experts.
The Association of Investment Trust Companies survey has revealed consumers are increasingly finding the property market instead of the stock market as a sound base for their investments.
37 per cent believe bricks and mortar outshine stocks and shares when it comes to money matters, according to the recent figures.
The association's previous survey in November 2005 revealed only 30 per cent of people had greater confidence in property investments.
Such increased confidence in the housing market is also reflected in the report's figures on sales agreed. The number of sales increased by 20 per cent in the UK in January 2006 and the market also saw increases in the numbers of properties being put on the market for the first time for five months.
Finding the best re-mortgages can be a daunting task.
The high street may not always offer the best deals. An independent broker or advisor may be a good place to start or try some of the excellent online comparison tools to give you some ideas. You may consider the benefits of an online mortgage which is likely to be less costly than one via a branch or broker.
Whatever you choose remember to think carefully and compare incentives before such a huge financial decision.
